Wendell O. Jones, Ph.D.

 

 

 

 

          Wendell O. Jones is a senior executive with thirty years in IT management, the author of several outsourcing articles, and co-author of Outsourcing Information Technology Systems and Services, a book published by Prentice Hall Professional Technical Reference in 1997. His extensive outsourcing experience as a customer includes leading the evaluation, negotiation and management of a $3 billion, 10-year agreement between McDonnell Douglas and IBM and selective outsourcing while Senior Vice President of Technology Services at NASD/Nasdaq Stock Market. Presently, as Vice President, Digital Equipment Corporation, he is responsible for worldwide delivery of Digital's outsourcing services. Dr. Jones' education includes an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in management information systems from the University of Georgia and a post-doctoral fellowship in computer science at Cornell University.
